This is a Swedish recipe by Anne-li, It looks a bit elaborate and complicated but it really wasn't that difficult to make, you just have to watch the timing.
The almond cup tastes like florentine to me with that lovely caramelised taste. A must try!
For 16 pieces:
The necessary ingredients:
100g almonds
100g butter, room temperature
1 DL sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp milk
1 tbsp cream
2.5 tbsp wheat flour
Preparation:
Set the oven to 175 degrees.
Finely chop the almonds.
Place all ingredients except almonds in a saucepan.
Heat, almost to the boil, for 1-2 minutes. It shouldn't boil.
Tube the almonds into the pot.
Place about 4 small dots on a baking sheet. Not too close to each other.
Bake in the oven for about 5-6 minutes until they turn golden. Take good care, it goes fast.
Place the pastries on the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
Shape these into small bowls at the bottom of a jar.
Fill with ice and berries and set the cold.
